Bolloré has extensive expertise in the automotive business, most recently as CEO of Groupe Renault and previously in senior positions at global automotive supplier Faurecia. Bolloré succeeds Prof Sir Ralf Speth, who will take up the previously announced position of Non-Executive Vice Chairman of Jaguar Land Rover plc.

He replaces Roel de Vries, who has decided to leave the company for personal reasons.
Jordi Vila will assume his new role from August 1st, based at Nissan Europe’s operational headquarters in Montigny-le-Bretonneux, France, as the company rolls out its next generation of crossovers and electrified vehicles, including the all-new Nissan Ariya.
A familiar face in Nissan’s European markets, Jordi Vila joined Nissan over 30 years ago as Export/Area Manager in Spain, going on to work in several M&S roles in the Netherlands, France and Italy, and serving as Managing Director for Nissan in the Netherlands and the Nordic markets. In 2017 he was appointed Vice President, Sales for Nissan Europe and from June to December 2019 led the European sales and marketing division.
Jordi said: “I am really excited to be returning to the European region at a pivotal time for the business. The new Nissan Juke is proving to be another crossover star for Nissan in Europe, and with a new Qashqai and the Nissan Ariya on the way, there is much for our teams and customers to look forward to in the coming years.”

Alejandro Mesonero-Romanos, 52, has been Design Director of SEAT since 2011, where he was responsible for the design of the Ateca, Arona and Tarraco models, among others. He also designed the fifth generation Ibiza, the latest versions of the Leon range and the CUPRA Formentor and el-Born. Alejandro Mesonero-Romanos received the Eurostars Award in the Design category in 2018 for his work in the complete renewal of the SEAT range.
Before joining Seat, Alejandro Mesonero-Romanos worked at Renault, where he managed several design projects, and the Advanced Design department from 2007 to 2009. In 2009, he was appointed Design Director of Renault Samsung Motors in South Korea.
Previously, from 1994 to 2001, Alejandro Mesonero-Romanos participated in the Exterior Design for several projects for the SEAT, Volkswagen, Audi and Lamborghini brands at the VW Design Center Europe (Volkswagen Group).
Born in Madrid, Alejandro Mesonero-Romanos graduated in Industrial Design from the Elisava Barcelona School of Design. He also holds a master's degree in automotive design from the London Royal College of Art.
Coming from the talent pool of the PSA Group's style department, Matthias Hossann, aged 40, graduated from the Strate design school and joined the Group's style department in 2002. He has since held various positions internationally, with 5 years at the centre of Shanghai style and has exercised his talents in the service of all the brands of the Group.
Since 2013, he has been responsible for the prospective design of the Peugeot brand with benchmark concept cars, including the latest e-Legend, and has piloted the preliminary design of the brand's vehicles, including the 208 and 2008. His appointment allows coherence between the strategic vision of the design of the Peugeot brand and the implementation of the style of production models, thus supporting the dynamism of the Lion brand for years to come.
