Production for new BMW 4 Series Coupé begins at the company's Dingolfing plant

No fewer than five new models celebrated their series launch at BMW Group Plant Dingolfing. The first new addition is the BMW 4 Series Coupé, which continues the sports coupé tradition at the BMW site in Lower Bavaria with its individual and sporty character.

The first shipment of Polestar 2 customer vehicles has arrived in Europe. The Belgian transport hub in Zeebrugge received the shipment which is awaited in anticipation by thousands of new Polestar owners in Sweden and Norway. Handovers are scheduled for August.

Christian Müller, currently Managing Director Engineering Opel Automobile GmbH has been appointed new Head of Powertrain & Chassis Engineering of Groupe PSA effective August 1. He will report to Nicolas Morel, EVP Research & Development. He will succeed Alain Raposo who has served in this position since May 2018. Alain Raposo has chosen to leave Groupe PSA voluntarily at the end of August 2020 in order to pursue a personal project.

Škoda Karoq, Kodiaq and Superb get new generation infotainment system

New infotainment systems are being introduced into Škoda’s flagship Superb as well as its Karoq and Kodiaq SUVs as part of model year updates. They are based on Volkswagen Group’s third-generation modular infotainment matrix and offer not only the Laura digital voice assistant, but a host of other online features too – including Internet radio and wireless SmartLink technology.
