Ford Sollers veteran Adil Shirinov appointed President and CEO of the JV

He played a key role in successful steering the business through the challenging period in the Russian market, significantly contributing to the company's development in the field of localisation and its manufacturing footprint. Particularly notable was Shirinov's success in raising the local content level of parts for models built at the joint venture's three Russian manufacturing plants to comply with the region's requirements.
Before joining Ford Sollers in 2011, Adil Shirinov was deputy general director and commercial director of SOLLERS and was responsible for managing all commercial negotiations with partners. Prior to that he served as general director of all business units in Tatarstan, including Elabuga and Naberezhnie Chelny plants. Shirinov played a key part in the organising of state of the art production facilities in Tatarstan, and leading the strategic cooperation with partners such as Fiat, SsangYong and Isuzu. Prior to joining SOLLERS, Shirinov was the deputy general director at RusPromAvto OJSC, from 1999-2002 he worked for Ford Motor Company in Russia and was the first employee of the new manufacturing project in Vsevolozhsk. He was employed as the director for production and non-production procurement, and later as the regional purchasing director (Povolzhye).
Shirinov graduated from Nizhniy Novgorod Institute of Foreign Languages, and earned an MBA degree at the International Management Institute, Saint Petersburg (IMISP).
Maruti Suzuki India appoints new Vice-President of Supply Chain

Budhiraja is responsible for the procurement of imports, raw materials including steel sheet and alloy bar, plastic resins, paints, consumables and export of components to transplants. In addition he is charged with price settlements of all the capital equipment purchases for the organisation.
Budhiraja was previously Vice-President of Procurement at Suzuki Motorcycle India and before that he was General Manager of Chassis, New Projects and IPL at Maruti Suzuki India Limited.
GEFCO appoints Sabine Spielrein as Internal Audit Director

Previously Internal Audit and Control Director at Dalkia, Sabine Spielrein is bringing to GEFCO her audit expertise, her experience in the industrial sectors and her knowledge of international environments, one of GEFCO's major development areas.

Sabine Spielrein started her career as an auditor at Bristol-Myers Squibb France in 1994. She then spent two years at KPMG as a consultant. In 1997, she joined Plastic Omnium as internal audit manager where she held various positions in the financial field; she participated in the creation of Inergy, a joint venture with Solvay. In 2002, she joined Dalkia and held various positions in finance, audit, mergers and acquisitions in France and Great Britain.
