A night to remember
On November 9, the prestigious Claridge’s hotel hosted its fifth Automotive Global Awards evening. Attended by top tier executives and businesses across the supply chain, IT and manufacturing sectors, the event once again exceeded its high expectations, presenting attendees with five-star cuisine and live music, making it a night to remember.
The automotive industry exists in such a demanding environment, so it is important to let your hair down once in a while and celebrate collaboration, communication and all of the hard work that has been put in over the last year. This is exactly what we achieved last week, with the help of our audience. Moments of mass celebration like this are hard to come by in the industry, so it is important that we enjoy them together. Ultimately, the awards were undeniably a great success, and we are already looking forward to next year, hosting yet another glamorous evening filled with celebration.
The Automotive Global Awards are not only for reuniting and celebrating with old friends, but for creating new relationships, both formal and informal. Collaboration is what drives this industry forwards; without it, we would not see the level of innovation that surrounds us today. Attendees, who surrounded Claridge’s grand round tables, were once again greeted by TV motor enthusiast Amanda Stretton, who has become a regular at our London event. The growing attendance each year reflects the hard work and commitment we put into one of our favourite nights of the year.
So I say thank you, to all who attended the evening. Thank you for building the industry we see today, thank you for welcoming new innovative players into the market and thank you for showing the strength of the automotive sector. Together, we will continue to grow and develop and I have no doubt in my mind that this time next year, I will be sat with old and new faces in black tie attire, celebrating what we have achieved in 2017.
